Some Problems of Present-Day Youth

The present-day youth is facing a large number of problems-economic, social, moral as well as political. But the root cause of all these problems is the lack of purpose in his life. The modern youth is like a rudderless boat. He keeps drifting here and there with no knowledge of his destination. All his problems grow form his purposelessness.

Our universities are producing millions of graduates and post-graduates every year. These young men and women look for jobs after completing their studies. But when they are unable to find any good job, they become restless. They feel that all their time and money spent on education has gone waste. They lose all hope of having a good life and grow desperate. Such a state leads them astray. It is nothing strange that these young men and women take to destructive activities. They fall into the hands of anti-social elements who use them as tools to achieve their own selfish ends.

An idle mind is, no doubt, the devil’s workshop. The youth are full of energy. This energy needs an outlet. If it is not channelized for constructive purpose, it will naturally spend itself in destructive action. So it is the duty of the government not to let the youth feel frustrated. They should not be allowed to feel that their education is no use. Suitable job opportunities should be given to them. They should be encouraged and guided to set up their own units. It will create a sense of confidence in them. The youth are the country’s biggest asset. The future of the country depends upon how their energy and education is utilized.

The social structure based on the caste system and joint families, served this purpose and was successful in providing social security for the group and a kind of insurance for the individual who by reason of age, infirmity,  or any other incapacity, was unable to provide for himself. Such an arrangement, while favouring the weak, hinders, to some ex...

Advertisements play a very important role in the promotion of one’s business. But a business advertisement should be drafted, designed and laid out in an artistic manner that will tempt the reader to go through it even if he has no desire to buy the advertised product. In fact, it is not possible to think of the modern world without advertisement. When we speak of advertisements we generally refer to business and commerce. They have become the kingpin of the world of trade In the past, there was not much need to advertise goods. Makers were limited. The traders or manufactures had only local customers. At best they took the services of town-criers or they use handbills or posters. But, now advertising itself has become a specialized form of business. Many advertising agencies have come up. There agencies help businessmen to promote their sales.Small t...
